Making Authenticators real for new audience
eBay wanted to increase consideration of the marketplace for luxury and fashion items while also conveying a free new authentication service. As part of a multi-platform approach, we created 6 first-person perspective videos from the POV of authenticators. This leveraged the native, trending TikTok format to both educate viewers and drive awareness of the program. The series featured real authenticators and real authentication steps. Overall results were impressive— we increased consideration by +2 points while also increasing trust in eBay.
